Have your collar out and ready, holding it in front of your dog’s head. With a piece of food in your other hand, let your dog stick their head through the collar to get the food.
Basically what you’re doing here is making it so your dog has to stick their head into the collar in order to get the food.
BUT, the key here is not forcing it. Acclimate your dog to this by letting them get the food a few times first without putting the collar on.
Once they’re calm and comfy, put the collar all the way on and you’re ready to rock n’ roll! 🤘🦮🐕
