That stove looks like swiss cheese! Someone's been having some target practice! Another great video!

I remember back in the 1970s, people would comb through the dump piles of the old farms and homesteads looking for depression glass that was still intact. All i ever saw were broken shards of depressionware. But I did see a whole lot of shot up things, including old cars and trucks. Shooting stuff at the dump pile seems to have been a pretty popular pastime.

I rent on long Island and I was able to make a small garden this year..and I got lucky and must have hit the old burn pile.. found small probably medicine bottles..glass some light blue and light green..Im guessing from the 30' s and got some old porcelain and ceramic hot and cold handles from the sinks..some old penny nails from the railroad and a handmade brick with puppy paw prints on it..I live in Patchogue about 3 blocks from the ocean on one side and 2 blocks from the railroad to the right of me..I imagine these old houses right around me were used for many things once ships hit the shore including first aide/ hospital centers and also dug up some old "milk glass" bottles ..after about just 6 inches I started finding these little treasures..and some old silverware as well...had I been allowed to keep digging further Im sure I would have found the kitchen sink😅
