Not that quick of a release. You didn’t even need to measure it or even take it out of the water at all! I fly fish for mostly trout but some warm water species and people dismiss improper handling with “they’re built like tanks”, “they’re tough”, “the fish will be fine”. It’s still good practice to treat every fish as carefully as possible.
