But yeah when you do something like a sequel like this and you come up with a new main character the best thing to do is wait a few years before you make an anime out of it because the ones that grew up with that generation are going to always get mad same thing would have happened if Gohan that took over Goku spot in Dragon Ball

The Major thing is og Naruto hits different and had a lot of potential characters but in boruto they focused on new characters totally so yeah .Also Since the Boruto anime has no backstory or something that's why it didn't touched our heart like Naruto.Although BTBV is nice but still Naruto's impact is greater. That's why ppl think Boruto is trash .But Trust me everything is fine just need to realise that Naruto and boruto are not same .So expecting same thing would be cool but stupid so yeah.also Many believe Naruto and Sasuke is weak but no they are not .Their enemy is just stronger
