Two things I like about japanese helmet and mask: 1) it disprove old argument about why viking helmet doesn't have horn is because it's impractical and nonsensical. Well, behold the many badass horn and decorations on samurai helmets. 2) the face mask is really cool and actually fit Jin Sakai's from Ghost of Tsushima character pretty well as a disguise as opposed to actual assassin's creed's signature hood. Mainly because people said the game is a really good AC game despite being not.

Man, one of the best episodes of Samurai Jack, the Origin of Evil, had a scene where Aku divided himself into hundreds of samurai. Every helmet was different. I miss good storytelling and good storyboarding.
