I have an unpopular opinion on this. A lot of people have a lot of different beliefs on the proper way to winterize engines. I believe running your engine dry and intentionally leaning it out is a bad idea. IMO run engineered fuel, or at least ethanol free fuel for your last tank or so then go start it and let it heat cycle once every few weeks. It'll keep all the diaphragms in the carb from getting brittle and you're not leaning your engine out to the point of failure.
