I grew this Monstera from a single leaf cutting back in 2020 to what it is now. I made a top cut about two years ago so what you see here is the top cut which is why even the lower leaves are fairly large.
This plant lives indoors under a 30w Sansi Grow light.
Last year I made a top cut to this plant again. You can kindof see where in the video. Thereโs a spot where the leaves suddenly get smaller and have less fenestrations. I very much regret making that top cut but at the time I thought that was my only choice since it was no longer fitting in its spotโฆ. Then we went and rearranged the whole room and now it has all the space it needs and I wish I could go back and un-chop it ๐คฃ. But the bright side is that I also have that beautiful enormous top cut which I will be making a repotting video about next

Just potting my large monstera props. Had plans to put all 4 in one pot - UNTIL I saw your clip. Perfect timing. I will take your advice & plant them individually in smaller pots. Thanx!!

Would be good to see how to do a root prune, as it makes total sense to trim roots when to gets too large to repot.

Lovely plant. I agree with the single vine look as long as its not skeletal. I have a huge one potted up. Although I just bought a giant top cutting ๐ฎ I don't know where I'm going to put it and why I bought it. Plant life ๐๐ชด
