Japan are definitely favourites this time around. Iran and Saudi Arabia had blows after losing their managers from 2022. Japan have probably their best group of players ever, especially with Kamada and Tomiyasu. In other times when Japan were the favourites, there were teams on their level, this time I don't think there are.

I think realistically the only side who can beat Japan is South Korea. Particularly in a final South Korea could get the better of them.
