I like the slower pace actually. Give more time for the world and characters to evolve. Also it is nice to properly see the repercussions of Denjis actions from part 1 and how it has effected him and the world as a whole.

I think the pacing is fine to me, and how Asa and other characters have been built up has been great to me alongside Denji and Nayuta

I would love to see what people are now thinking of it now, especially with the most recent releases. Things have finally started to accelerate more, and pay off is definitely happening

I'm currently re reading Chainsaw Man and am just about to finish part 1. Its such a great series to go back to and take your time with. I wasn't too big on part 2 my first read through but i think itll be more enjoyable on a 2nd read through as ik whats ahead for the most part and my expectations are set, and im trusting Fujimoto to truly take his time to craft, cook and deliver some good shit once part 2 has a good amount of chapters under its belt. felt like whiplash when you 1st read through p2 because of the drastic change in feel and pacing.

Just gotta be patient really. It’s still very interesting in everything we’ve gotten so far, it’s just not what part 1 was and it should t be held to that standard even if it’s the same series. Two different tones in each part with Denji entirely.

I have the exact opposite feelings, I find CSM Part 2 way better and more interesting than Part 1

fujimoto killed the series for me. it feels like he had something so good going but decided to throw it all away. ;(

People perhaps aren't enjoying part 2 because their social media anxiety riddled brain prevents them from enjoying content that last more than 10 seconds.
