GraphQL Client is the best way to build client applications in Graphql. This client is designed to help developer in building UI quickly that fetches data with GraphQL and can be used with any JavaScript front-end.

There are powerful clients available like Apollo Client & Relay which can automatically handle batching, caching, and other features for your client application. GraphQL client also manages the cached entries of data fetched from queries or mutations.

Caching is one of the major features of Apollo Graphql Client. Apollo-boost is a convenience package which brings in a bunch of other dependencies. The biggest reason of using a GraphQL client is caching. The Apollo client describes it's use case as: "Use it to fetch, cache, and modify application data, all while automatically updating your UI.

But you don't need a complex client to call a GraphQL server. With express-graphql, you can send an HTTP POST request to the endpoint by passing the GraphQL query as the query field in a JSON payload.

Apollo Client includes local state management features out of the box, that allow you to use Apollo cache as the single source of truth for data in your application. Managing all your data with Apollo Client allows you to take advantage of GraphQL as a unified interface to all of your data.
