If you end up with extra blue paint for the cottagey vibes i'd reccomend painting the porch ceiling blue! Its a southern tradition meant to chase off evil spirits and keep them out of the home but helps keep insects from building nests as well. A real go to for authentic farmhouse cottage vibes
