I kind of think it's about spreading Aeormatons around the world, maybe. Who knows what he did to them or for them before selling them?

I think the moment you are able to swap parts of your body without this meaning a huge medical risk, your start seeing them differently.

Maybe it's his way of spreading them around without raising too much suspicion. Automatons that aren't sentient are common, so it would be easier for the aormatons to integrate into society with setting off people's concerns about thinking robots.

Devexian is not all knowing and all powerful, there must be a limit to what he can do, it's not unrealistic to think that maybe he's not knowledgeable enough to repair some of his more severely damaged compatriots, but people like dancer / Imahara Joe can

It would be very odd for them to have the initial D and not be Devexian. Matt had 25 other letters to choose from :P
As to why they're selling dead comrades, I guess they need travel money. I don't think they sold FCG with the intent or knowledge that they're a murderbot because Dancer doesn't seem like an important assassination target.

I believe that Aormatons weren't equals. I'm sure that there were different status between them, such as serving a normal person, serving a political figures or serving an archmage... Maybe being independent was the highest status for an Aormaton... The thing is, rewatching the Devexian's recovery episode made me feel like he believes he is a higher being.

But If that was the case, wouldn't he be hard to forget? Like dude went crazy when he saw FCG, imagine if he saw Devaxian in person? At the very least he would have told FCG that he was an Aeormaton, or another one like him. I highly doubt it unless he is using some disguised to mask his true form.

Maybe he wanted Dancer dead for whatever reason and he knew what FCG was originally programmed to do so he sold him to her knowing exactly what would happen
