Liv Tyler is such an underrated actress. Glad she was apart of the LOTR franchise. This was truly her most iconic role

The incantation is breathtaking, with the beat in the background and the whispering echoes, sends shivers down my spine every time. THIS is the kind of magic that really makes you freeze and stand in awe.

"if you want him, come and claim him" is the second-best moment in the trilogy

I love that shot at 0:58 where it just shows how outnumbered she is but she still keeps going without any fear or signs of stopping.

"Waters of the Misty Mountains, listen to the great word - flow waters of Loudwater against the Ringwraiths!"  Yes, I'm a Tolkien fan

Hell, 15 years since LOTR and this scene still freezes my attention.
Peter Jackson was simply destined to film the trilogy.

Nazgul: She’s got a sword!
Witch King: You idiot, we’ve all got swords! [all unsheathe swords]

Breathtaking scene. The scale and beauty of LOTR is unlike anything else ever made. I remember being on the edge of my seat watching this when I was eight and I still am now.
Personally, I've never been a fan of fantasy things but LOTR strikes the perfect balance between world-like and other-worldly.

I remember first seeing this scene in theaters and the fucking chills I got when we first heard him say "Give up the halfling, she-elf." and the subtle tilt of his head during that quote. The voice alone made so many people in that theater gasp or murmur. It's one of those scenes that just ends up burned in your memory. (in a good way)

This is legit one of my top favorite "added scene" from the movies. I was 10 when this movie came out. My mom had just finished reading the entire trilogy aloud to us -- she did voices and everything, it was fantastic -- so in the theater, watching it, I knew that this scene, as it is here, isn't in the book. I couldn't -- and still can't -- care less. I was OBSESSED with horses back then (I still love them!), so seeing a chase like this... instant chills. I still literally get tears in my eyes from chills when Arwen tells -- begs -- her horse to go faster, I literally did just now watching this. And then the waters of the Bruinen rising up, just as described in the book, like horses and riders... just gorgeous.

0:39 The hit in her face, 0:47 The black riders accelerate their speed .. These kind of details are what made that scene so epic and so profound. And the Ringwraiths theme is another story.

Love this scene! This first movie was incredibly artistic. The scenes are like paintings come to life. And the music... don’t even get me started.

I always regret not having watched this movie on a big screen... especially because of this scene

Despite Glorfindel being substituted from the book, this is one of the greatest sequences of the trilogy by far. The image of the black riders, the music with the images of their horses looking crazed/evil, the chase per se, i'm sure Tolkien would be proud of this one.

a perfect example on how you can create an excellent scene by just using real life actors/animals and a tight editing, not some CGI crapfest with 100.000 computer animated soldiers and multiple panoramic shots, TFOTR was by far the best movie of the trilogy
