If ukitake is still alive in cour 4 i would say mimihagi helps to defeat yhwach.

He’s potentially still stabilizing the rest of the word through yhwach as a conduit maybe. Like the reason the realms aren’t all falling apart after yhwach absorbed the soul king is because ukitake is still using the mimihage through yhwach to stabilize the realms until he’s defeated and gets sealed

In the manga, Yhwach absorbed Mimihagi and later the Soul King. In the anime, Yhwach “destroyed” Mimihagi but didn’t absorbed him. Mimihagi will be used for the Silver of Stillness Arrow.

Also idk but when ganju used his method idk the name like a soil that pulls them down (royal guards ofc) i can't but notice how pernidia got swollen up then after escaping that pernidia actually was showing some signs idk like screeching to them ...and if you remember thats how pernidia dies in senjumaru bankai also he was the most frustrated one after that
