So the study finds that ~10% of the 203 items tested were potentially dangerous, but they dont tell us what products they tested, which of those product are bad, who manufactured them, what company sells them, etc...
Neither the article nor study are very helpful with what do about it. It isnt feasible to just throw away and replace half our stuff. We need them to be transparent about exactly what products are bad and what (if anything) can be done to check products in our home

Honestly, I'm so tired of everything having some sort of health risk. Like, at some point I stopped caring, because it feels like literally everything we use, eat, drink, touch, breathe always comes with some sort of health risk. That or they're constantly ping ponging between "bad" and "good" for us. And then they wonder why we're all suffering from mental issues?

Guys if you canā¦ drink filtered water, always eat and drink with glass dishes/containers and metal silverware. Just generally avoid all plastics and synthetic materials when it comes to things you put on your body, breathe in, eat or drink out of. Eat Whole Foods and avoid anything highly processed. You will be healthier and your body will thank you.

As a 3D printing enthusiast, there are so many plastics / polymers used in our daily lives: ABS/PET/PETG/Nylon/ASA/TPU/PC/PA/PP/PVC/PSU, etc to name a few. Maybe some specificity to the materials and specific products (aside from spatulas) can be useful. Itās like saying all black clothes is now dangerous. This needs more nuance! Black is just a pigment in any type of plastic, it doesnāt make it inherently dangerous.
