It has an 80Wh battery - double the size of the original. RAM has been boosted from 16GB up to 24GB. It comes with 1TB of storage as standard and you get two USB-C ports instead of just the one.
The ergonomics have also been refined: The hand grips have been rounded, the macro buttons have been shrunk so youāre less likely to press them by accident and the distance between the sticks and the buttons has been reduced.
Despite all that, the Ally X is only 11.5% heavier than the old model, weighing in at a reasonably lightweight 678g.
The new Asus ROG Ally X will retail for Ā£799 and is available for pre-order on the Asus website now.

Itās more like a Legion Ally X now. It looks cool and sounds good, but to upgrade, I wouldnāt, but if I didnāt buy yet, I would.

Youre paying almost double for 8gb more ram and bigger battery. This is not a powerhouse its Litterally the same processor. The only reason they made it is because they want an easy way to cash out and they also didnt want to address the manufactoring issues with the original ally. Dont be fooled

it depends on the benchmarks, i have 2 ally's already both with 2tb storage. So it comes down to how much better performance
