Portrait lenses are about color rendering, not sharpness. It's a one-trick pony. Most people don't want a specialized lens. Those that do, will buy it, and be quite happy.

I wonder how many people as a percentage use the aperture ring. I've personally literally never used it because I just control it from the body. I'd rather they stop adding this trend to save on weight and production cost.

I like the viltrox one more as it seems to have better lens quality and costs just as much. But the magnetic ring is a very genius idea. This also fits quite nice with their filter offers 👌
