Such solid sensible hunting advice. If you’re ONLY in it for the trophy and not the meat snd the fun of the hunt, you’ll be suffering a lot for a trophy that may never come your way.

The last point was spot on. We’ve gone too far toward big buck mania. The advertisements, celebrity hunters, and marketing in general push impressionable hunters that direction. Thankfully, I never quite feel headlong into that hole. My favorite hunting show was Dan Fitzgerald, he ENJOYS hunting, not just killing.
I have gone to traditional Bowhunting and instantly got the adrenaline rush of close quarters hunting back.

I got 20 acres of public hunting I can easily access and no info and im a brand new hunters first year of hunting would like some tips I have i do have 2 large public hunting properties but I don't have reliable transport to and from

So could you not if your hunting on a 2,000 acre property, and sections are broken off one main road down the middle of the property and lanes that go perpendicular to that road on either side of the main road about 200 yards apart from each other. Could you essentially work, let's say, a 100-acre section of that 2,000 like it was just a 100-acre property and hold deer that travel all around the 2,000 acres on just that 100 acres?
