GreenT. Please let us see the harvest. All your experience is valuable to us. Loving our potato harvest inground this year. Picked what we needed and left others to cure. 45 mph winds before the harvest time.

I’m not sure about that, the side shoots in potatoes are not trying to take energy and grow a new plant like a tomato sucker would. You want more side shoots cause they capture more solar energy that all goes back to the potatoes. You should prune the potato flowers though, as they do take energy and don’t benefit the actual potatoes.
