I've always kind of felt like the cyborg that destroyed Genos's hometown was possibly him. In the first One Punch Man manga Genos's shirt has genocide wrote on it, which I'm guessing is where he actually gets his name from.

I think there is a higher chance of Genos losing his "humanity" after he finds the mad cyborg, probably after understanding that humans were the cause of it, he goes on a rampage. But that all depends on if the manga will let kuseno live
