Another good day of weapons training the other week. Got to teach brothers Nate and Bryan some fundamentals I’ve learned, and then come up with a little stress test/course of fire for each of us. 🔥
As all the greats in every field say in one way or another, there’s no real use for, or even no such thing as, fancy/flashy stuff, just really good fundamentals. 💯
I like taking videos like this and reviewing to see how I can improve my skill. My grip, stance, and accuracy has improved a ton. Cadence is still really good (especially with Nate’s comped 365, smooth as butter), and alternate positions & movement come easy to me with my background. 🎯
However, I notice I did something again this time that I did in a previous video, and that’s not having a gun in the fight when switching between my primary and secondary and/or moving. 👎🏼
It will be my main focus in my next training session, along with more moving off the X while shooting, reloading, and stitching drills. 🤙🏼
Keep that white belt mentality to keep learning and getting better. 🥋
