Yeah bro, Enjoy the Silence is a banger. Although I'm partial to "Policy of Truth" more. I really think "enjoy the silence" is about Dave Gahan (lead vocals) severe heroin addiction. "All I ever wanted is here in my arms" like injecting heroin into one's arms. And the silence being the high. Can't prove it but he did OD and die multiple times before he got clean. Drug addicts, as sad as they are, make some really great music sometimes, at least it seems. But that could just be confirmation bias.
