Interesting use of the rivet there. I've installed these very roofs and those ridge caps like that however, we always use the self tapping screws with the rubber. however, that looks like a good idea as well.

Gap between sheets. At ridge is supposed to be 2" on each side 4" total. Highly inadequate ventilation is the result with the 2" that you have.

Hey, is rubber sealed screws. It's called seam screws. Metal.
Tap and seam screws, no drill. Don't need drill bit. They also have rubber gas on it and it'll seal it off and then if you're doing it. There's also this and that then I didn't say. If you're doing a rich cap, you need closures. It's what it's called if you order them

Always do 2 rows of caulk on the overlap. It is explained in the roofing directions.
