The question of "if" is not relevant here. Life is not a zero sums game, sometimes interests align. We aim to to protect the Druze in Syria and to protect our borders.

Druze speak Arabic, but they are not Arabs. They are the descendants of Jethro. Nobody on the planet can convert to their religion. Together with the Kurds and Jews, they already inhabited the Levant before the first Arab left the Arab Peninsula and the first Turks still had to migrate from Mongolia to the Byzantine Empire.
