This is why I either travel alone, or with a friend who is similar, I've been to japan a few times, one trip I went for six weeks and two of the weeks I just spent in the hotel, getting drunk, ordering uber and playing total war shogun 2 and watching anime. I loved it. It's my holiday, and I can spend it how I like.

I remember a 'vacation' I took with my ex wife and our two daughters under the age of three. My ex spent the entire time pushing a double pram with our girls in it whilst I lugged around three massive suitcases and two medium sized suitcases. Yes FIVE bags in all. My suitcase was the smallest and even though we were away for more than month, as we were staying at places where we could wash our clothes, I never had an issue with what to wear. Two of the suitcases had three sets of different clothing for our tiny girls for EVERY FUCKING DAY THAT WE WERE AWAY!!! My ex packed three outfits for every day not thinking we could easily launder their clothing. About fifty percent of the clothing she packed for our kids was NEVER WORN AND WERE UNPACKED BACK AT HOME STILL CLEAN!!! My clothing was all worn and washed multiple times. I returned home absolutely stuffed from having to work as a pack horse for the entire trip while my ex wife was as fresh as a daisy because all she had to do was push a fucking pram. And.... luckily for me, she was also pregnant again.
Yay! For no one. Women....stop packing shit you're not going to wear and keep it simple. We men hate your over packing BS.

I went to the Louvre with the family, didn't get in, there was a beautiful park outside with statues and a nice cafe between the trees, we stayed there all day and got fkt up with wine. The kids had ice cream.
