Im looking at surgical options for cervical spinal stenosis. My MRI was described as a horror movie, which may explain why my pain has been unimaginable at times. It took 4 tries to get an MRI before they got me into a position where i wasnt screaming from the pain of having my neck straightened out.
Im very scared of any surgery involving my spine, especially that high up but im more afraid of living with these constant muscle spasms and the nerve pain shooting down my entire arm and the numbness in my hand. Im more afraid of feeling that forever than I am of the surgery.

Great.Is it a solid piece, or does it have some type of flexibility to it? Can you have this procedure done in your neck? Can you cycle and work out with these procedures done In your neck and lumbar spine?

One of my vertebrae only has one side with a transeverse process. I have spinal stenosis of that disc too. Would something like this be able to work for me. I am 48 years old and want my life back.

I just had L5-S1 fusion surgery in May but without the cage.

Iโm in LA. Iโm going to ask if they perform this procedure. If not, Iโm making an appointment with someone who does. Iโm really frightened by my level of pain because Iโm not living! Iโm too young to be a vegetable. Iโll have to become a vegetable rights activist after all. Thank you for this hope!
