This was my first computer, I still have it and it absolutely rules! Perfect for playing Dungeon Keeper and RCT2.
Fun fact, that battery uses regular 18650 cells, and you can open it up to replace them if you’re feeling brave! With new cells in mine, I get about 2:30 battery life. Not great, but much better than the 25 minutes I was getting on the original!

Reminds me, I need to find someone who can do battery rebuilds. I bought cells for my iBook Clamshell but nobody near me does battery welding. @~@;

So if the hard drive died while playing Doom, wouldn't that mean that it got fragged? And therefore couldn't you just run a defrag program to bring it back??

Very typical for OS/2 there. My PowerBook G3 Kanga still holds about 2 hours charge as well. Real shame about the red hat, though.
