the real depth will prob come with Unrecord, the game that originally went viral with this rendering style. They're making an actual game out of it; Bodycam kinda just undercut them with a tech demo to capitalize on the news cycle Unrecord started.

Lighting and bodycam really makes it realistic.. To look at..
However, the tether mechanic to aim ur mouse, feels like ure stearing a spaceship, and the bodycam makes it feels ood.
As a viewer, its great because it feels real and immersive. But as a player, youre playing from the bodycam, and just feels "weird"
I doubt anything like this will ever be mainstream, or even close for more than a few weeks.
But it looks insane, and cant wait for see lighting like this in games like Tarkov, BF, CoD and whatever game who aims for "realism"

I get that it's part of the whole "ooh tacticool dudes we need to hide identities for anonymity" aesthetic, but there's gotta be some means to turn off the face blurring.

I mean, the game looks good and all, but that kind of comes with UE5 as is, the scenes are just taken from the marketplace and don't actually have anyone making the environments themselves, and its just a blatant copy of Unrecord since everyone was hyped about it and they were the ones that released actual gameplay of it to the public. But I have a pretty negative opinion of it as of now. But I wonder if something will be done by Studios DRAMA after they release Unrecord
