Doesn't it seem a little... uncharacteristic of the Jedi, being humble warrior-monks who followed a Jesus-esque life of no possessions, either physical or emotional, to build fancy metal statues and busts glorifying their greatest members? I mean, I get doing it to commemorate them and their contributions to the Order, but it still doesn't seem like something they would do given all that we've been told about the pre-Empire era Jedi Order...
