I’ve noticed people would ask me a question, and I know they don’t really care about my answer, so I would answer it with a question and they spend 5 mins answering that they have forgotten they ever asked me a question.

I have asked people, “why do you want to know?” when they ask something I’m uncomfortable about sharing. Seriously, are they interested or just nosy? If they cannot answer it, don’t tell them. Especially the gossiping office people.
