Cool to see how your -40 is different to mine, I wear a lovely hand made coyote fur ushanka, it’s a size too large so I can use it over top of a toque or ski mask. Also because I’m on a farm, my -40 winter boots are just my regular Mucks, and I simply wear three pairs of thick wool socks.

I've done -30c before and love everything about this except the onesie pieces. Peeing was the worst experience I've ever had in my life 🤧 I've found that tucking pieces works pretty well instead :

Damn different than what i wear, pair of thermals merino wool top and bottoms log sleeve and t-shirt then jeans hoodie to top it off neck gaiter and tuque gloves are optional depending on what im doing .once i get moving i stay warm ive worked the northern canadian winters the past 12 years though kind of used to it

To keep warm in -20c I pull my socks over some pjs so that there’s no skin to be exposed them get on some overalls because why not lol

Tbh it takes so long to go outside in these Temps, I get lazy and don't go out as much. 😂 so glad I moved from fbx, my old roommates have been in -40 for the past couple weeks. Today it was -20 where I am, but it's been a lot warmer on average
