The way OP is trying to get her point acroos is bad, but being obese is very bad for your body and even fatal. Love and embrace your body the shape it is, but if it's unhealthy, it's unhealthy, and you need work on getting keeping it in shape for health reasons.

I’m my opinion, if your weight isn’t in the way of health, I don’t give a shit. Unless you want to get rid of some weight to improve your self physically or mentally, then I’ll take note and make sure you’re doing okay.

See this might be a controversial opinion, and i’m not at all supporting how OP dealt with the situation, but I do see where she is coming from. Although it might come from jealousy, 180 pounds at 5’4 is in fact obese in a concerning way. She’s clearly viewing it from a material standpoint, which obviously plays a role, but she needs to also think of the health risks that go hand in hand with her condition. I also don’t exactly support the relationship either, i don’t wish to make assumptions, but it looks to me personally like the friends partner supports her unhealthy lifestyle, which brings about a cycle of unhealthy behavior. You want your partner to push yourself to be better, not worse.

I’m 5’ 6” I used to be 210lbs that was fat so I stopped eating for a few months, now I’m 145lbs and anorexic don’t starve urself ppl
