My Gurudev has clearly highlighted the point. The best solution is to completely surrender to God and Guru. Get the knowledge and wisdom until you die. Practice the knowledge and always learn from Guru to analyse your shortcomings. My Gurudev said always say to yourself I haven’t still learn anything in life. I have to learn more now. This way we will always look defects in ourself that will make us humble and won’t have ego in life

The three types of sadhak as described in the Bhakti Rasamrita Sindhu are Uttam, Madhyam and Kanishtha sadhak. Uttam sadhak is defined as शास्त्रे युक्तौ च निपुणः सर्वथा दृढ-निश्चयः । प्रौढ-श्रद्धो’धिकारी यः स भक्ता उत्तमो मतः ॥ The best among the devotees is the one who has the true scriptural knowledge and deep and intense faith on his Guru, Ishtadev and the path he is following.

Knowledge is very much important in any realm, weather it’s worldly or spiritual, if we don’t have proper knowledge we can’t understand it properly and without having better understanding we can’t make progress in that particular realm and get successful.

Knowledge is very much necessary in the progress. Very much in spiritual journey otherwise people around us will move our faith. Hence it is important to have scriptural knowledge and has to follow Guru for knowledge.
