Carl, always afraid of those wind storms we live in a high wind(tornadoes) area, and I am always looking out the window at my antennas during and after to make sure all is alright, but the main thing, Carl, is staying safe, no antenna is worth getting injured for, once it is over we can always rebuild!

The poles used by DX command on his classic really are strong, I use two and a Sotabeams pole for putting my 80m End-fed up over my house, they really took some abuse in the wind a few weeks back but sure as anything stayed up - lowered my 2M/70/23cm antenna tho, wasnt going to risk that one in those winds !!!

Stay safe Carl, an antenna is not worth getting hit by a roof slate or other debris in these gales! 73

Grab a dirty shot glass, a bottle of Niepoort, and sit back and ride it out. Be sure to make it the 1863 Lilique Demijohn, one cannot just Drink Any Port in a Storm......
