I am a retired journalist. Being from Texas, I had some experience dealing with fairly rabid Southern Baptists. But the first time I asked a Mormon business executive a question he did not want to answer, I was rewarded with a level of viciousness I have not faced before or since. And I've been robbed in NYC -- twice.

I've shocked some Christians before, by pointing out that in saying 'forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who have trespassed against us' is asking God for forgiveness, ONLY IN PROPORTION to the forgiveness I have granted to others. You're not entitled to ask for a clean slate unless that's what we've offered to others.

The most baffling part of it to me is trying to figure out what they think theyre accomplishing. Do they think lashing out like this at former members is going to make Mormonism look good to prospective members? That math doesn't add up. It's clearly not winning you back to the fold. Is their endgame just to seelf-fulfill the prophecy that people who leave Mormonism are miserable by going out of their way to make people who leave Mormonism miserable? Surely there are better ways they could be spending their time?

As an ex JW i find your videos informative and i relate to much of the cultish behaviors.
Thanks for sharing. There are a lot of good people who are caught up and trapped in the dogma of these cults. Many dont have the inner fortitude to walk away and deal with the shunning and shaming of Family and "friends".
Christians shouldnt hate on anyone. No matter what reasons are presented. Leave the judgement out of Your lives and worry about the flawed person in the mirror. Grace and Love should be in our Hearts. ❤❤❤

Shes speaking from her own experiences and mormons really be coming out of nowhere to call her a liar? She examined her upbringing, questioned everything she has ever been told, and grew as a person to unlearn harmful/hateful ideologies. Do you know how hard that is when you dont have the tools to dissect the brainwashing you've been subjected to your entire life? Even if you firmly believe your religion is perfect sunshine and rainbows, that doesn't make what shes saying false. Having a different experience than her with mormonism doesnt make her testimony false.

I'm a Christian (not a Mormon 😅) who grew up in Utah, and I've been loving your content, girl! Thanks so much for producing it! It's been so good to get an inside scoop on the false teaching I grew up around and heard bits and pieces of but years later second-guessed myself about. Keep up the good work! And you're right! True Christians follow Jesus Christ, not Joseph Smith (despite Jesus' name being hijacked to attract people to their brand). The book of 1 John in the Bible has little tests for us to check if we are genuine Christians or not and bingo, loving others (agape) is on the list! No matter what people say about themselves, if their beliefs and actions don't line up, then that is evidence that God hasn't truly changed their heart and life from the inside out (aka, they aren't a true Christian)

Hi, I’m a Christian. I absolutely see your glow-up, I like your nose ring, I appreciate your unique style. I also appreciate the process of your deconstruction. Thankfully my opinions don’t add or detract from the inherent value of your life and experience. Thanks for being so open about where you’re at today, differing perspectives and conversations are really important ❤

This one hits me hard right now. I recently got engaged to my partner. We are both women. Her family is very Christian and have made it known they don’t approve yet have always preached the “I love and accept you no matter what” for other gay family/friends. We have come to realise it’s okay until it’s too close to home then it’s an issue. It’s hard to see my fiancé be so hurt by her family when she is finally so happy and allowing herself to be who she truely is after a life time of denial due to her religious beliefs.

I sincerely believe that if Jesus were to ever come back, he’d be disappointed by 95% of Christians.
