One day as a contractor for roofing I was in a condo in Fort Lauderdale going up the elevator with my tools as everything had gone wrong that day. and an elderly man stepped on TO the elevator and said how are you doing, I almost always say Iโm doing good but that day I just let go and said Iโm having a terrible day! He rolled up his long sleeve shirt and showed me the numbers that were tattooed on his arm from being a prisoner of the Germans in World War II , that was a bad day he replied I swallowed my hurt. pride or whatever you wanna call it and I said yes sir and Iโve never thought that way again. my day

I had the opportunity as a kid to meet many veterans and when I asked them what war they were in most world war one veterans would get angry and I did not understand. Later on they would say the great one. All of them look like old men so I didnโt know. But World War II veterans are the most honest honorable sweetest humblest people youโll ever meet if you get a chance before theyโre all gone
