Hard thing is that mixing the two breeds isn’t always going to give you the good qualities of both dogs their genetics are so different you could get the temperament of the boxer and the seriousness of the lab. It’s great if you adopt these great mix breeds but breeding them for profit isn’t a good idea there is no standard for the mix and there will be so much variety in the pups

You have to be careful with any "designer breeds", obviously. I take this is as more of a if you come across a dog that is this mix, or you don't have to go with a pedigreed dog. That said, there has never been a day when I thought my lab was too serious. More the opposite, really. She does have that intensity and laser focus on certain things, but I love her drive too and there are ways to limit problems from that.

My 1st dog as an adult on my own (42 years ago), was a Boxer/Lab mix...he was awesome! (his name was Drake and was loved very much and still missed today)

Or the worst of both lol then double trouble. I’m happy with just a Boxer. But on the serious side some over breeding in both dogs could be helped with a Little crossing sometimes. I am waiting for someone to make the boxer in different sizes at least 2 like schnauzers come in standard and medium etc.

I love labs but everyone we have had has never known when to stop eating. Never had a boxerdoor, maybe ill give one a go after our frenchie.

I had a sheprador. She was an awesome dog. My 8 month old dog is basically a Sheppit and he is an awesome dog. Super smart, lots of personality but fairly high energy without being a spaz.

I just had to put my Boxador down due to heart failure . He had a fawn color weighed 120 lbs at his max and was the best dog I've ever seen. Everyone loved him he was loving and protective. He always wanted to be with his people. Great dog.

I'm surprised and saddened to see this "advertisement" for yet another designer breed for back yard breeders to exploit :(
I'll continue fostering and "shopping" at our local animal control, which is overflowing with discarded designer breeds. Every dog has a different personality, no matter what the breed. Through fostering we have been able to find the best dogs for our families.
