ADHD Paralysis Explained.

This is what it feels like for somebody with adhd! So if you are neurotypical you can try to understand it! No matter how much i tried to make you touch that hotplate you couldn't do it even though you know how to do it because you understand the pain behind it. Same exact feeling for doing a simple task like doing the laundry or washing up. Or making an important phone call.

Let me know if you relate below

for me its like laying there, and having an invisible, weightless blanket pressing me down, even though I can not feel a thing.
case in point workshop for stats has some questions need to be answered.... and I find myself watching adhd vids, dog sittings videos, political commentary, and some very interesting vids on battery technology and how Na-ion are now actually being produced ( i thought of it last year, but thought I must have been missing some technical point) and basically just chasing whatever squirrels the algorithm shows me

No, this isn’t ADHD paralysis. This is a just a symptom of being addicted to YT shorts. Terrible example for this situation. Ofc you can stop “doom scrolling” if you’re addicted to it, which it seems 80-90% of ppl in America are.

So many people trying to be cool by having ADHD, most over diagnosed disease in history it seems.
