Real! I tried to draw a girl with fox ears just for fun and literally everyone said "you draw furries?" like it's such a bad thing, it's not furry art though😭

I feel like an anthropomorphic animal can be called a furry, but it doesn’t mean ALL animals drawn this way ARE furries.
Consider the cat witch you drew to practice character design. That’s an anthropomorphic animal right there, but it’s not a furry.
I will also say however, furry art and/or being a furry yourself is not a bad thing. It’s only a bad thing if you ALSO happen to be zoophilic. Many people make this misconception that all furries are zoophilic, when this is not the case at all.
If you argue with me in the replies, unless you make a valid and fair argument explaining why I am wrong, I will ignore you.

Furrys are a community that find particular interests in anthro animals. Furries are enthusiasts for animal characters with human characteristics!
That does not mean every Antro animal is a furry... Anthro characters existed far before furries were even a thing. We have many famous characters that are animals with human characteristics that are not classified as furry.
My reasoning for zootopia not being labed as a furry movie is because disney doesnt claim it as such. (You can google that). Many people in the furry community do really love this film.
Just because a certain community loves a film doesnt make it apart of that community. Even though it fits the stereo type. Again furrys are enthusiasts, that means they love certain things.
What I mean by this, for example. If I draw spongebob as a human, does that mean he's now human by canon? No, he's a sponge.
I am not out to offend anyone. There is a difference, and some people just dont know the difference. I love furries and think their art is adorable.
Let's all remember, too, that these are all fictional things. I'm not here to argue. Furries are a fan based community. Where rules can be bent and it's all about being creative. There is no set standards. Just remember to draw and have fun!
Furry artists can have a huge following too!
