She is a good egg! That is how parallel to how my husband and I did it before marriage, 50/50…I paid for groceries, toiletries, etc. he paid for rent. We split things. On our first date I made sure we did a 50/50…he paid for dinner, I paid for movies (I didn’t want him thinking he was getting a lil something something) plus I feel uncomfortable for someone I just met spending all this money on me. in November we’ve been together 30years. And I hit the jackpot with him, best man ever!!!!

Also, when we dating, I had shitty credit, I paid everything off but it still looked bad…he loaned me $800 to get a new Honda because I started a career at the police department (he was a PO) and I needed a dependable car. He saw my potential and never ever brought the loan up. He loved me unconditionally. Didn’t care if I had bad credit, now I have too credit….marry this girl. Few and far between.
