"Don't show your emotions/feelings" is great advice given the suicide epidemic we have with men, especially young men, going on right now.
The word gets thrown around too much but this is the definition of "toxic masculinity". Men can have emotions and show emotions to their loved ones. You can be a man and show emotion. Trying to force ourselves to be unfeeling cold robots is why half of men can't deal with anything emotionally.
