I’d love to see this done with a variety of magnacut HRC and another test of knives that use corrosion resistant materials like aluminum and titanium to see where they are susceptible.

I just discovered than my kershaw bel air have big rusting spots under the aluminium scales even with the black coating. Same with kizer dropbear with lc200n blade scales are rusting under the titanium pretty bad.

I really don't understand why this is a thing. Guess marketing has people convinced they need corrosion resistance. As a mechanic i find the only tools that rust are ones you don't use.
I personally like 14c28n never had a problem with it. Of course in Florida i carried Aus10 every day never had any rust.
