I bought us a dishwasher for Christmas last year. This year we are getting us a new mattress.(Ill build the bed again like i did last time) we have started getting the things we need or need to replace around the house as a joint gift and then just getting each other something small and thoughtful. Best decision we ever made

Give em a gift card to Home Depot & a list of things that need to be purchased for around the house. I never was able to buy any gift that was truly appreciated in my marriages of a total of almost 25 years combined. Even when I was told what to get, it ended up being something wrong about it. Damn sure don't buy clothes. I learned to just say go buy whatever you want, wrap it up & put it under the tree.
