I've been preaching this for a while now and I've experienced it first hand when I got my cdl and started applying for jobs. The trucking industry is dead thanks to load brokers and big companies unwilling to pay a reasonable wage for your work.

As a former trucker, 70% seems too low. More like 90% + of everything you buy was delivered on a truck at some point.
