First tell the child why you got divorced and see if she still wants to go. Reassure her, you will not be mad if she does decide that she still wants to go. You don't have to stay there. Just drop her off and pick her up when it's done. And is she there as a flower girl? Or is she there as just a regular guest? I can understand that OP is hurt in this situation. Of what happened in the divorce But do it for your daughter, not yourself. Also, the dad should find his own way to pick her up Unless They are in different states or countries. Then the dad should pay for gas and/or plane ticket For them.

NTA. No woman wants to be in the vicinity of where their ex husband is getting married. Especially not when their ex is marrying the person they left them for. I'm sorry that the daughter is in the middle but her mom has a right to some peace in her life. Her ex husband needs to collect his daughter if he really wants her at his wedding.

I went to my biological uncles wedding when I was a kid. My father had to help with some stuff and so we were left with our grandparents and our other family. Does this man nor the woman he is marrying have no other family to help look after them and bring them?? It is not her responsibility. Even if it was an amicable breakup you still wouldn't be the arsehole for not wanting to go to the wedding of the person you thought was gonna spend the rest of their lives with you!!
