Where the Justive Lords truly that evil? They lobotomized every single Supervillain, including The Joker and Doomsday so they would never ever do harm again and they wanted to eliminate Lex Luthor, who not only killed Flash in their universe but cause millions of casualties through the series.

I know I'll be refuted, but in JLA Dark Apokalips War, Darkseid absolutely demolished (to put it oh so very mildly) the JLA, the Teen Titans, the Legion of Doom and any other super-powered on Earth, sucking the Earth from its magma for two years and sending it into an almost-certain doom.
He also ravished the Earth, enslaved most of the JLA, gave Superman a Kryptonite tattoo in the shape of his symbol (symbol of hope for kryptonians, but in kryptonite, it might as well say "no hope") and even threw hands with a fully unleashed Trigon.
