I remember being told to take bed rest and T3s in my first pregnancy as a 22 year old, healthy, fit young woman and my entire body rejecting the statement. There was no way that would be my pregnancy. Medical advice is just that - advice. There's no reason to listen to something without digesting it first - does this apply to me? Does this feel right in my body? And a lot of pregnancy and postpartum advice I received never resonated. So I didn't listen. I listened to my intuition instead. I listened to my body because she knows how to move through a healthy pregnancy, she knows how to create life, she knows how to deliver safely and powerfully. And so of course she is capable of strength in all seasons of pregnancy - given the power to do so. This pregnancy has been so beautiful and powerful, this baby's energy is so soft and sweet ❤️ I can't wait to meet you!
