Kids aren’t a problem. The worst is when 18-20 year olds are drinking or taking drugs while blasting ugly music and screaming and whooping for hours drive you crazy. “But we’re young, we should party.” 🤪 Entitled brats. Then when they’re tired they demand peace all the same, and get angry if they don’t get it

The main problem here is parenting. Most parents are too lazy, too tired or too unaware how to provide a good quality parenting. It’s like everything else these days “I cannot be bothered”. Today, nobody takes responsibility for anything. Schools are supposed to parent children and teach what years ago was parents’ responsibility (for example potty training).
And if you complain, you are the difficult one. There’s no logic, no common sense, no willingness to find solutions. Life has become difficult in areas where it could be very, very simple. I feel the only solution here is to move.

Imagine 45-50 kids screaming from 8am to 10pm - as if they are actually being tortured (but they are “playing” and gleefully destroying everything around them like trees, flowers, birds nests with eggs and chicks in them, and any poor animal in the vicinity - and all of the neighborhood complaints are ignored.
That is what my neighborhood is. If adults did the same, the three strikes and eviction process would start. I asked the management why these screaming, property-destroying kids were allowed to rule the entire neighborhood, when 290 adults are paying rent to live in a community where the rental agreement states that no member of the apartment, or their guests, will cause a noise disturbance in the apartment or on the property. The management response was, “What do you want us to do? Shoot them?”
So the parents and the management have completely checked out of their responsibilities. I don’t understand why. Are they afraid of children?
