While this may help some people I think the bigger problem is that you have a relatively brand new phone that is having hardware issues and while this fix me alleviate some of the symptoms is still not a viable solution I would definitely be taking that phone back to Samsung and have them fix it permanently So yes this did help with the symptom but this should not be your last step like no one should just stop at this and say that their phone is fixed especially with the phone being that new.

I have the opposite issue it randomly gets too bright for me some times even with auto brightness I have to manually turn it down a little

There is a reason why all phones dim backlight when it gets hot.

you phone is overheating and lowering its brightness so that you dont get burnin and shit battery, phone under the sun is supposed to peak only like 5 minutes

I thought my iphone has a problem with brightness and when someone told me that screen dimming is turn on ๐ I didnโt know that screen dimming is existed ๐
