Ha, just like how we used to cut the strings off a tampon to dance,lol, seems simular but more secure than a tampon. I have a slanted uterus, so tampons have never worked well for me..idk, I don't think this thing tho is for me. Much more of a moon pad girl here

I snip them off. I use a sanitized, coarse nail file to remove the “sharp” bits left after using the scissors.
